Understanding the power of ‘The Pippa Effect’

Posted on | July 17, 2011 | No Comments

Even though sometimes Pippa Middleton likes to keep it simple in a basic light skinny jeans with blue sleeveless blouse and a pair of classic Ray Ban 3026 aviators to go with it, there has been more attention turning to Pippa Middleton than her sister Kate Middleton. Since the royal wedding, it looks like this fashioniesta is turning heads and getting more photographed than her sister Kate because Pippa looks stunning in any dress she chooses due to her fantastic figure. It doesn’t matter whether she is just wearing an anorak, flip-flops or very famous ‘The Pippa Middelton Toilet Paper Dress’.

Hudson Jeans have been spreading pictures of Pippa Middelton wearing their designer brand skinny jeans so they can benefit from “The Pippa Effect’ to drive their sales world wide. Pippa was also offered a modeling job by Hudson Jeans, but she refused the offer. Who can blame Hudson Jeans for trying to use the most famous and marketable bum in the whole world?

We know the royal wedding was amazing. What was more amazing than the royal wedding itself? It was the pictures of Pippa Middleton’s butt in her dress from the royal wedding. After the wedding, There has been 60% increase in butt-lifting procedures in England. There are websites dedicated to Pippa’s butt, in addition to twitter accounts with thousands of followers. If she was in America, She can easily give Kim Kardashian a long run for her money, but why these British girls are spending thousands of dollars on butt-lifting procedures in recession, when some duck tape can get the job done?

Modalu decided to change name of their ‘Bristol & Shark” bag into ‘The Pippa’, after she was seen carrying it, resulting the bag to be sold out with in 2 days and causing manic at Modalu’s head quarters with phone calls making enquiries about the bag. Before you even think about getting the bag, there is a waiting list until November 2011. That is the power of ‘The Pippa Effect’.

Pippa is also a dream project for Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss. Also, Usher is trying to sign her to be the face of his lingerie line. What? You didn’t know that Usher has a lingerie line? Well, did you know that both Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters wants to produce a movie or a TV show starring Pippa Middleton?

Pippa has become a very powerful fashion icon and instead of letting other people benefit from ‘The Pippa Effect’, I think she should start her own clothing line. Who wouldn’t want to see her modeling for The Pippa Middleton swimwear collection?
What you think of the power of ‘The Pippa Effect’?

Oh Grandma, you are so crazy and messed up

Posted on | July 17, 2011 | 1 Comment

If you thought your daily foibles were a little unusual, meet the characters who put even the most extrovert among us to shame.
The new series of TLC’s My Strange Addiction, which airs this Sunday, delves into the emotional pasts of a host of individuals who are more than just a little eccentric.
Take unconventionally compulsive Jazz Ison Sinkfield, who has extraordinary 24-inch long nails.
Curling from her finger tips, the talons are garishly colourful and have made the grandmother into something of a local celebrity.
Her nails, which make a clicking sound as they move, are an ever-growing project that is 22 years in the making and that costs $250 a month to maintain.
Sinkfield, from Atlanta, Georgia, is unable to type, dress herself, tie shoe laces or remove the jewellery that is on her hands and wrists.
She needs help simply opening some doors and making phonecalls, but insists her bizarre lifestyle choice is a God-given ‘talent.’ She believes the ‘divine gift’ is a ‘fashion statement’ that other ladies want to replicate – and that she hopes will one day lead to her meeting Oprah.

Thigh’s the limit: Alicia Keys takes a fashion misstep in unflattering denim hotpants

Posted on | July 17, 2011 | No Comments

So it is understandable that Alicia Keys would want to keep as cool as possible in the sweltering heat as she took her family for a stroll.
The singer wore a light sleeveless top and a pair of tiny denim shorts for her day out.
Unfortunately, the combination of tight shorts and unflattering gladiator sandals – notorious for giving the appearance of short legs as they hide the ankles – did little for Alicia’s curvy figure.
The usually svelte star is still shifting some of the excess baby weight she put on before giving birth to her son Egypt last October.
Alicia also wore her personalised silver necklace, which bears her name and those of her husband, Swizz, and baby son, Egypt.
Alicia left it to the nanny to push the baby-stroller, while she held on to her four-year-old stepson Kaseem.
It only the second time first-time parents Alicia, 30, has been seen out with her new son.
Luckily her music producer husband Swizz is be able to give her plenty of parenting tips, as it is his third child.
Swizz recently discussed his ambition to get his superstar-songstress wife into the studio with British great Adele.
The producer has been working on getting the two to collaborate for some time and his dream may be about to become reality.
‘We’re looking good, we’re looking good, we’re looking good,’ he told MTV News at the Sounds Like Paper Concert at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, New York.
‘I just thought that, man, this would be a great moment for both of them, because they have amazing styles and they both respect each other,’ he said.
‘They’re fans of each other. So let’s make this good for music.’
